Christian McCaffrey (calf) ruled out for 49ers in Week 18
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey will not play Sunday in the team's Week 18 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
McCaffrey left Sunday's Week 17 win over Washington early due to a calf injury. Now, he's offiically been diagnosed with a mild strain, and he'll be held out of the regular season finale. Expect Elijah Mitchell to carry the workload, and Jordan Mason will also see work.
In 16 games this season, McCaffrey has 1,459 rushing yards, 564 receiving yards and 21 total touchdowns.
