Cole Kmet (knee) sitting out Wednesday for Bears
Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (knee) will not practice on Wednesday for Week 18 against the Green Bay Packers, per head coach Matt Eberflus.
Kmet played in Week 17 after being listed as questionable, but he was only on the field for 13 snaps and didn't draw any targets. Eberflus said the tight end "just needs another day with the trainers" and that "it's looking positive," so Kmet could be back out there on Thursday. Robert Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis will play more snaps if Kmet is limited again on Sunday or ruled out. Kmet caught 5 passes on 7 targets for 44 yards versus the Packers in Week 1.
Kmet is the TE7 in numberFire's Week 18 rankings and our models project him for 7.8 FanDuel points, with 6.0 targets, 4.0 receptions, and 40.8 yards. The Packers are allowing the 10th-most FanDuel points per game to tight ends this season (10.0).
