David Njoku (rest/knee/illness) back at Cleveland practice Thursday
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (rest/knee/illness) was a limited practice participant on Thursday for Week 18 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Njoku returned to practice on Thursday after being held out of Wednesday's session. That puts him on track to play versus the Bengals, but the Browns may also decide to let Njoku join Joe Flacco and rest in the last game before the postseason. Amari Cooper (rest/heel) is expected to be held out, so if Njoku does play, he should dominate targets from Jeff Driskel. Harrison Bryant and Jordan Akins will play more snaps if Njoku is inactive or limited.
The Bengals offer a plus matchup for the Browns' tight ends, as they are allowing the third-most FanDuel points per game to the position this season.
