Bills release Leonard Hankerson
The Buffalo Bills released wide receiver Leonard Hankerson.
Hankerson was getting reps with the first-team offense in the spring, and reportedly "looked strong" as a dark horse for third receiver duties. Once the pads came on in training camp, however, it was a different story. In the Bills' preseason opener, he caught 1-of-5 targets for seven yards on Saturday, and committed three drops.
On his 48 targets, Hankerson had 0.85 Receiving Net Exception Points (NEP) per target for the 2015 season with the Atlanta Falcons.
