Raiders promote Karl Joseph into starting lineup
The Oakland Raiders have promoted rookie strong safety Karl Joseph into the starting lineup.
What It Means:
The Raiders toyed around with Nate Allen and Keith McGill at strong safety in the first two games, and neither could cut it. Joseph was drafted specifically to fill this position, and should be an improvement on this horrid secondary.
The Raiders' defense ranks dead last in Defensive Passing Net Expected Points.
