Saints send safety Rafael Bush to injured reserve
The New Orleans Saints have placed safety Rafael Bush on injured reserve with a torn pectoral, ending his season.
Bush also missed the end of last season with a broken leg. The Saints are thin in the secondary as fellow safety Jairus Byrd is still battling a knee injury.
The Saints struggled in Week 1 as they currently rank 29th in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play. They're paired with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who finished 2014 31st in Adjusted Passing NEP per play and struggled in Week 1. The Saints will face the Carolina Panthers in Week 3 before going up against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4.
