T.J. Yeldon solidly second in Jaguars' backfield
Jacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon is the "clear cut" second back behind starter Leonard Fournette, First Coast News believes.
Yeldon shared backup duties last year. His pass blocking is enough to keep him ahead of speedy-but-inconsistent Corey Grant, but there's not much standalone value. Yeldon could see a handful of touches as a third down complementary back.
Our models project Yeldon for 276 rushing yards and 1.3 touchdowns on 64 carries, adding 28 receptions for 228 yards and 0.6 scores this season. He's our 64th-best fantasy back at this point.
