Colts' fifth-rounder Jordan Wilkins 'in the mix' for starting job
Indianapolis Colts fifth-round rookie running back Jordan Wilkins is "in the mix" for the starting job, believes 1070 The Fan's Kevin Bowen.
Bowen says Marlon Mack is the "early starter" for a committee that is currently distributing first-team reps between five different backs. If Wilkins winds up coming away with the early-down role, he will be worth a look in the later rounds.
numberFire's models currently project Wilkins to total 101.9 yards on the ground and 116.8 through the air while scoring 1.26 touchdowns in a limited role for the Colts as a rookie.
