Steelers' second-rounder James Washington shines in second preseason game
Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver James Washington caught 5 passes on 7 targets for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns in Thursday's preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.
Washington hauled in a contested score over a defender in the end zone for one of the highlights of the night. The impressive performance comes in the same week that Ben Roethlisberger praised the second-round pick for "getting better every day."
Washington is within the top-100 receivers in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings, and we expect him to see 43.6 targets for 26.2 receptions, 337.8 yards, and 2.26 touchdowns during his first year in the NFL.
