Russell Wilson, Seahawks' offense sputter Monday night
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed 22-of-36 passes for 226 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception, in addition to 17 rushing yards and a lost fumble, in a 24-17 Week 2 loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday night.
Wilson was sacked 6 times for the second straight week as the Seahawks' offensive line was eviscerated by Khalil Mack and company. Fortunately, Wilson managed to salvage his line for fantasy owners with a stat-padding, 99-yard drive at the end of the game where the Bears were playing no defense, resulting in a 2-yard touchdown toss to Will Dissly. The other touchdown was a beautiful 19-yard floater to Tyler Lockett in the back of the end zone. Seattle hosts the Dallas Cowboys in their next outing.
Wilson finished with 15.7 FanDuel points in Week 2, bringing his average to 19.1 FanDuel points on the year. He's currently the QB13 in numberFire's Week 3 fantasy rankings and comes with a $7,800 price tag on FanDuel.
