3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 1/6/17
New Jersey Devils
Players to target: Taylor Hall, Pavel Zacha, and P.A. Parenteau
This is a play that mostly has to do with the projected pace this line will see. The New Jersey Devils' top line should see much of their ice time against the lines of Auston Matthews and Tyler Bozak, which both have a lot of firepower.
These lines are talented offensively, but they are also prone to giving up chances to the opposition. All three of the top lines for the Toronto Maple Leafs own a 58 (or more) Corsi Against per 60 minutes. Toronto is also one of the worst in giving up high danger scoring shots, with almost six allowed per game.
Zacha and Parenteau will both play on the top power play unit and Hall will play on the second unit. We know how valuable power play time is for DFS because over 20% of total goals scored come in that situation.
A cheap line with a player as talented as Taylor Hall against a fast Leafs team has a good chance to pay off for DFS owners.
