Players to target: Tanner Pearson, Jeff Carter, and Tyler Toffoli

In a clash against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Kings' best offensive line should draw great matchups on home ice. In their only other matchup this season, the Kings thrashed the Leafs, 7-0. In that tilt, Carter's line with Toffoli matched up with Tyler Bozak's line over 60% of their ice time, and they dominated. Carter ended the game with two goals while Toffoli finished with a goal and assist.

Tonight, Carter and Toffoli will be joined by Pearson. When skating together, these three have posted 71.2 Corsi For per 60 minutes, a 62.2 Corsi For Percentage, and 10.4 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes.

Anze Kopitar's line usually gets the opposing team's top line at home, giving Carter and company a repeat matchup against Bozak's line. While Toronto's second line is talented offensively, they allow 60.9 Corsi Against per 60 minutes, making this clash exploitable for Pearson, Carter, and Toffoli.
