Players to target: Alex Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and John Carlson

It's not a secret that we should play Alex Ovechkin in DFS, but he should be ripping an obscene amount of shots in a matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins, who have allowed 73.9 Corsi Against per 60 minutes, which is the worst in the NHL this year.

Kuznetzov and Carlson should be the beneficiaries of Ovechkin's high volume of shots, as they've been feeding him at even-strength and on the top power play. While Washington's top line hasn't been great defensively on paper, they have been ahead for most of the season, leading to fewer shot attempts after the first period.

Pittsburgh has also committed 15 penalties in three games and the Capitals are already flexing their power-play muscle, converting on 3 of 9 attempts this year.
