Nashville Predators

Players to target: Filip Forsberg, Ryan Johansen, and Viktor Arvidsson

This trio was one of the best possession lines in the NHL last year when together, and not a lot has changed. So far, they have posted a 61.3 Corsi For percentage, 72.4 Corsi For per 60 minutes, and 3.2 expected Goals For per 60 minutes. These are video game numbers, and it is going to be hard to ignore them tonight.

The Nashville Predators will get a home matchup with the Colorado Avalanche, an improved team that still struggles with possession. The Johansen line should see a lot of the Nathan MacKinnon line, which owns a 47.5 Corsi For percentage. The top line for the Preds should be able to have its way with Mackinnon and company at even-strength, and they will all get significant power play minutes against Colorado's 29th-ranked penalty kill.
