Players to target: Matthew Tkachuk, Mikael Backlund, and Michael Frolik

The 3M line for the Calgary Flames has been disappointing in their offensive results, but tonight, they'll see a sneaky-good matchup against the St. Louis Blues, who are without Jaden Schwartz. They will get the Vladimir Tarasenko-Brayden Schenn line which has struggled mightily without Schwartz (15 High-Danger Chances Against per 60 minutes, 38.7 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes).

The Backlund line is still creating many chances, as their numbers are up to over 33 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes and 10.6 High-Danger Chances For per 60 minutes. St. Louis also has a below-average penalty kill on the season and have also quietly given up the 11th-most High Danger Chances Against per 60 minutes in December.
