To this date, the Calgary Flames' top line has posted a 54.9 Corsi For Percentage, 30.3 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes, and 13.3 High-Danger Chances per 60 minutes. At home, they are set up to succeed in this matchup against the Los Angeles Kings, as they will avoid Anze Kopitar and likely see near 60% of their faceoffs in the offensive or neutral zone.

Gaudreau, Monahan, and Ferland will see a lot of the Adrian Kempe line, which, while talented offensively, has allowed 17 Scoring Chances and 9 High-Danger Chances in 33 minutes of ice time. We shouldn't take small samples as the gospel, but these numbers are alarming enough that we should expect some high-paced hockey -- a type of play in which Calgary's top line often succeeds.
