3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 3/28/18
Florida Panthers
Players to target: Aleksander Barkov, Nick Bjugstad, and Evgeni Dadonov
The Florida Panthers' first line will get a solid matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have been burned in their last several meetings against the Panthers (allowing over three goals per game). Overall, Toronto has been better at home -- yielding only 2.68 goals per game -- but Florida is 10-1-2 in their last 13 games. It's safe to say the Barkov line is rolling as they have combined for 12 real-world points in the last week.
The Panthers are one of the more dangerous teams in the league over the last month, averaging 3.45 goals per game in the split, which includes Barkov's 1.1 points per contest since January 1st. The Tomas Plekanec line yields 29 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes and roughly 10 High-Danger Chances Against per 60 minutes. While Florida is chasing down a playoff spot, Toronto has been up and down over the last five games.
Lastly, this is a bit of a risk, but do watch for Florida's second line as a contrarian play on Wednesday night.
