NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Thursday 4/12/18
A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?
It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.
To help, take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's five-game slate, the second night of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Goalie to Target
Pekka Rinne ($9,200): After ending the regular season on fire (23-6-1, 2.12 GAA, .931 save percentage), Rinne will be in net for the heavily favored Nashville Predators. He will be aided by having home-ice advantage against the Colorado Avalanche, who score only 2.68 goals per game on the road, the fewest on the slate. Our models project Rinne to have the highest chance of a win among all goalies in action tonight and give him by far the best odds of a shutout, making him well worth his high price. Andrei Vasilevskiy placed second in our projections and also averages less than $400 per projected FanDuel point.
