NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Thursday 4/19/18

Alex Ovechkin is in superb form, totaling 15 shots over his last two games. Who else should you trust in NHL DFS?

A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?

It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.

To help, take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's two-game slate.

Goalie to Target

Sergei Bobrovsky ($8,700): The Columbus Blue Jackets are up 2-1, which is hard to believe, and Bobrovsky will be in net for them tonight as they are slightly-favored. He will be aided by having home-ice advantage against the Washington Capitals, who allow 3.28 goals per game on the road. Also, Columbus yields just 2.38 goals per game at home. Our models project Bobrovsky to have the best chance of a win among all goalies in action tonight, and we give him the best odds of a shutout. Frederik Andersen is the night's second-best option, per our projections, and is $400 cheaper than Bobrovsky.
