NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Wednesday 10/3/18
A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?
It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.
To help, let's take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.
Goalie to Target
Jacob Markstrom ($7,700): The Vancouver Canucks are close to even money (+105 moneyline) against the Calgary Flames. Markstrom was a stellar 5-0-1 in his final six starts last season, while facing 189 shots in that span. He performed poorly against the Flames last year, allowing five goals on two occasions, but that was before he started to round into form at the end of the season. There are other options like Frederik Andersen and even Martin Jones, but there will be more clarity on the slate's goalies once starters are confirmed. As of Wednesday morning, Markstrom has not yet been the confirmed starter, so do make sure you double-check that he's the starter before you lock him into your lineup.
