NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Tuesday 11/26/19

The Tuesday slate features only three games, but David Pastrnak is locked and loaded. Who else can you trust in NHL DFS?

A good chunk of you played daily fantasy football this year, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion of you have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?

It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel because it's a ton of fun.

Our analysis and projections can help you win. To help, let's take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.

Goalie to Target

Mackenzie Blackwood ($7,200): The New Jersey Devils goaltender gets a tired Minnesota Wild team on Tuesday night, which blew yet another lead last night to the New York Rangers. Now, can Minnesota get more than 28 shots on net on Tuesday? That is a bit of a question mark. Blackwood needs to win this game to gain a little confidence after the 5-1 drubbing Boston handed New Jersey last Tuesday at home. Among the other options out there, Jaroslav Halak is intriguing at $8,600, and he would likely face enough shots from the Montreal Canadiens.

High-Priced Skaters

Tyler Seguin ($8,100): Among the highest priced players, Seguin is almost the only choice on Tuesday going against the Chicago Blackhawks. He has nine real-world points (three goals) in his previous six contests. Finally, the goals are coming, and yet the forward has just 6 on the season with 87 shots on net. Chicago allows the most shots per game in the league at 37, so there should be some opportunities for Seguin and the Dallas Stars. Now, do enough pucks go in the net? That remains the question.

David Pastrnak ($9,200): Pastrnak has to be played no matter what at this point. Also, the short slate almost forces placing him somewhere in at least some lineups. Even with his dud against Minnesota, the winger still had four shots and three scoring chances. He nearly got a couple assists, as well. Sometimes it is not a player's night. Pastrnak scored in the only meeting between the two teams on four shots and a crossbar hit. High-priced options are slimmer than usual on this slate, but Taylor Hall ($7,500) is starting to heat up with points in three of his last four games.

Value Skaters

Joel Armia ($3,800): At the least, Armia and the Canadiens should churn out enough shots. That is good news for Armia owners tonight as his price dipped below $4,000 once again. He also has 14-plus FanDuel points in two of his last three outings after a drought that lasted several weeks. Boston-Montreal games typically average around seven goals combined, so there are opportunities to be had here on Tuesday night.

Mathew Dumba ($3,800): Dumba keeps playing around 24 minutes a night in all situations, which is great. The only regret is the lack of points. He does provide a decent floor, though, with 14 shots and 8 blocked shots in his previous five outings. He had several scoring chances against the Rangers on Monday night, but none of them would go in. New Jersey's defense can be scatterbrained and vulnerable to shots from the point, so Dumba does have a little value on Tuesday night after all. Zdeno Chara ($3,900) could provide a boost to one's roster as well.
