3 NHL FanDuel Values to Target on 1/13/20

If you follow the NHL, you already know all of the top players. Obviously, when playing DFS, those players will come at a high cost. In this article, we are looking to find the cheaper value plays to help you afford the superstars

Oskar Sundqvist, Center, St. Louis Blues

FanDuel Price: $3,600

Oskar Sundqvist is on pace to set career highs across the board in goals, assists, points, shots, and blocks. In addition, he is expected to play on the top line for the St. Louis Blues alongside Brayden Schenn and Jaden Schwartz.

John Gibson has struggled a lot lately as he has given up four goals in four of his last five games. Could he bounce back tonight? Sure, he's an elite goaltender. But a road game against the defending Stanley Cup Champions could be troublesome.

Daniel Sprong, Winger, Anaheim Ducks

FanDuel Price: $3,600

Much like Sundqvist, Daniel Sprong is a very cheap player that is lining up on the top line. He's with Ryan Getzlaf and Adam Henrique which is great, but this line — Sprong included — also play as a part of the top power-play unit. This is huge, because the value with full game correlation with his linemates is a great spot for Sprong.

As mentioned above, it's a tough matchup, but the value is too good to ignore here. Sprong is also the highest points-per-dollar winger, as per our projections.

Ryan Pulock, Defense, New York Islanders

FanDuel Price: $4,400

Ryan Pulock has put up 20 points in 43 games along with 101 shots and 80 blocks. The offense is solid, but he also produces on the peripheral side of things which gives him a solid floor and ceiling. The New York Islanders have a solid matchup against a New York Rangers team that is giving up a 62.78 Corsi Against per 60 minutes at even strength, which is dead last in the NHL.

Pulock is a great value tonight and comes in as the third-best points-per-dollar defenseman, as per our projections.
