3 NHL FanDuel Values to Target on 3/4/20

The struggles of Joonas Donskoi has brought his price down to a point where he is a significant value.

If you follow the NHL, you already know all of the top players. Obviously, when playing DFS, those players will come at a high cost. In this article, we are looking to find the cheaper value plays to help you afford the superstars

Christian Dvorak, Center, Arizona Coyotes

FanDuel Price: $4,600

The forward depth, especially from a scoring perspective, remains quite thin on the Arizona Coyotes. Christian Dvorak is having his best season of his early NHL career, as he's on pace for 46 points. His 18 goals and 38 points in 67 games are already both career-highs for the 24-year-old.

The road matchup against the Vancouver Canucks is an interesting one. Vancouver is on a three-game losing streak as they struggle to stay in the playoff picture. This is a matchup with playoff implications, and one that Arizona is definitely going to want to come out on top of.

Joonas Donskoi, Winger, Colorado Avalanche

FanDuel Price: $3,600

A very good November had Joonas Donskoi on pace to smash all of his career-highs. However, with just 10 points in his last 34 games, Donskoi has been struggling immensely. He is playing on the second line with J.T. Compher and Matthew Nieto while having a role on the second power-play unit.

The Colorado Avalanche will host the Anaheim Ducks tonight, a team on the second-half of a back-to-back. Anaheim lost 6-2 to the Chicago Blackhawks in a game in which they had to use both of their goalies as John Gibson got shelled. Their starting goaltender for tonight is still unknown.

Ivan Provorov, Defense, Philadelphia Flyers

FanDuel Price: $4,300

Ivan Provorov is definitely not having the type of season that he had in 2017-2018, but his season has still been quite productive. With 11 goals and 33 points in 65 games, his 41-point pace is definitely respectable, though perhaps a bit underwhelming.

However, he does produce from a peripheral standpoint, with his 141 shots (2.17 per game) and his 103 blocks (1.58 per game). He has been on and off of the top power-play unit, but he has been quarterbacking it more often than not as of late, which gives him additional offensive upside.
