3 NHL FanDuel Values to Target on Monday 6/7/21

There are two NHL playoff games on the DFS slate tonight. Can we find a few values?

Spending lower in any daily fantasy lineup is a way to incorporate some diversity into your roster. In NHL DFS, there is typically more value in this strategy but also a good deal more risk. This is especially true on tonight's slate, where there are lots of lower-salaried plays. Plugging in these options will afford you more chances to play some studs, as well.

Monday night has two more playoff games. So, what values can we find?

Adam Lowry, Center, Winnipeg Jets

FanDuel Salary: $3,700

Adam Lowry is still too much of a value, as the Winnipeg Jets' center still has this low of a salary. Even with a $300 raise, his production trumps what one spends.

The forward scored once more in Game 3 after an off Game 2. He had two shots on goal and another blocked shot. He played less than 15 minutes and yet was quite effective offensively. It seems like he may be one of the few players on Winnipeg that has an answer for Carey Price.

Elsewhere, Eric Staal ($3,600) carries some risk on the Montreal Canadiens bottom-six but he has real-world points in three of his last four games.

Cole Caufield, Wing, Montreal Canadiens

FanDuel Salary: $3,600

Cole Caufield kept finding a way to get shots on the net and even chipped in with an assist on the power-play on Sunday night.

He had an assist and six shots on goal in Game 3. He also had three prime scoring chances and at least two high-danger chances as well. There were a couple of 2-on-1's that some thought Caufield should have shot but he passed instead.

Caufield just creates matchup nightmares for Winnipeg. It does not hurt that the quick study has 11 shots in his last two games alone. He must keep firing shots on net to be effective. Passing is fine but his shot causes rebounds to happen.

Joel Armia ($3,500) is one to watch and he did have two short-handed goals in Game 3 against the Jets.

Joel Edmundson, Defenseman, Montreal Canadiens

FanDuel Salary: $3,800

Joel Edmundson just wins. That's right. He has three assists in his last three games for Montreal.

The Montreal defenseman has eight blocked shots in his last three games and even had a short-handed assist on Sunday to pad his total and increase his value. He mostly finds himself playing in all situations and may play even more depending on the condition of Jeff Petry for Game 4.

There is a considerable value on the blueline for Monday night. Even Scott Mayfield ($3,900) could be worth a look. For greater risk, there is Matthew Grzelcyk at $4,000 for Boston.
