3 NHL FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Wednesday 3/2/22

Four more NHL games take place on Wednesday, so which values are lurking on the ice?

Spending lower in any daily fantasy lineup is a way to incorporate some diversity into your roster. In NHL DFS, there is typically more value in this strategy but also a good deal of risk, too. The right low-salary plays can give you good production while affording you more chances to roster high-salary studs.

Wednesday night brings us four games on the schedule. Let's hunt for values!

Filip Chytil, Center, New York Rangers

FanDuel Salary: $4,000

Filip Chytil has endured a tough season with the New York Rangers. There have been injuries and seemingly constant demotions.

However, there is a potential with the young forward that one may want to take a shot on. Chytil has eight shots and ten scoring chances in his last three games despite playing less than 12 minutes per contest.

At a mere $4,000, Chytil becomes a building block to spend upward elsewhere.

Victor Olofsson, Wing, Buffalo Sabres

FanDuel Salary: $4,300

Victor Olofsson looks healthy, and that is great news for the Buffalo Sabres.

The winger has not had the greatest season but provides pretty good offensive pop historically. He also has seven goals and 17 assists on the season with 45 games played.

While the forward plays second-line time on even-strength, Olofsson gets prime power-play time as well. With the Toronto Maple Leafs, there might be some goals to be had. They did allow seven to Detroit over the weekend.

The forward could get a few chances tonight; he's posted 11 shots and 14 scoring chances in his past three games.

Rasmus Sandin, Defenseman, Toronto Maple Leafs

FanDuel Salary: $3,800

The Maple Leafs' blueliner took advantage of an opportunity on Monday night. With Travis Dermott out, Sandin produced two assists without looking over his shoulder against the Washington Capitals.

Toronto needs steady play from its younger defenseman. They are going to have to lead for a bit with injuries to Jake Muzzin and the aforementioned Dermott.

The floor can be quite shaky with Sandin sometimes since he does not typically block a lot of shots. He averages less than one shot and one blocked shot per game.

On the other hand, at a mere $3,800, Sandin again is playing Buffalo on Wednesday. It is a matchup to focus on in a game worth stacking.
