3 NHL FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Friday 4/1/22
Spending lower in any daily fantasy lineup is a way to incorporate some diversity into your roster. In NHL DFS, there is typically more value in this strategy but also a good deal of risk, too. The right low-salary plays can give you good production while affording you more chances to roster high-salary studs.
Friday night lowers the boom with seven games on the schedule. Let's have some fun!
Michael Amadio, Center, Vegas Golden Knights
FanDuel Salary: $3,900
The bargain bin feels a bit barren on Friday night, but Michael Amadio is slotted at center for the Vegas Golden Knights on FanDuel.
With Amadio seeing a little more ice time, he is making the most of the opportunity. He has double-digit FanDuel points in four of his last five games.
The forward played more than 16 minutes against the Seattle Kraken as he scored once more. Three of his eight goals on the season have come in the past two weeks.
With the depth of Vegas looking better and better, it is those plays that are better options on Friday.
Daniel Sprong, Wing, Seattle Kraken
FanDuel Salary: $3,800
Daniel Sprong has three goals in his first four games as a member of the Seattle Kraken.
His salary has stayed a good bit below $4,000 during this run. Sprong is shooting the puck a good deal; he has 16 shots on goal during this span.
Vegas will give up their fair share of chances, and Seattle averages more than 31 shots per game on goal at home.
The winger has a chance to find the scoresheet once again on Friday night.
Alec Martinez, Defenseman, Vegas Golden Knights
FanDuel Salary: $3,800
Alec Martinez missed four months of hockey and has been eased back into the lineup over the past couple of games.
The veteran blueliner expects to play 20-plus on Friday against Seattle. He played 18 on Wednesday, missed a few shot attempts, and blocked four shots.
He had just three assists in his first 11 games before the injury but should start to see some power-play ice time soon -- if not on Friday night.
Cam Dineen is an intriguing risk from Arizona at just $3,700 for a younger alternative, but Martinez is a trustable, veteran name always capable of producing a well-rounded evening.
