Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Wednesday is a slate filled with big-time aces. Jose Fernandez, Jacob deGrom, Yu Darvish, and Kyle Hendricks all take the bump tonight. Given those high-priced studs that will man the mound, Tanner Roark will likely be under-owned.

Why You Should Use Him:

Roark and the Washington Nationals are favorites (-154 moneyline) against Wade Miley and the Baltimore Orioles. Miley has struggled since becoming an Oriole, as he owns a 4.34 xFIP in August.

Roark will also get the benefit of facing the Orioles at home versus on the road. Roark has only allowed 0.42 dingers per nine innings at home, versus 1.03 homers per nine innings on the road. In addition, he allows a .291 slugging percentage at home, compared to a .372 clip on the road.
