Melky Cabrera has put together a decent season, slashing .295/.344/.453 with a .341 wOBA and .159 ISO, both of which sit solidly above his career averages. He has been especially good against southpaws -- with his wOBA jumping to .368 as a right-handed hitter -- and he has a good matchup against a struggling Hector Santiago.

Santiago's SIERA has gotten worse with each year he has been in the majors, and it sits at 5.09 on the season. His 18.2% strikeout rate is his lowest since his two-game rookie campaign in 2011, and he owns a 10.0% walk rate. He has a 5.55 xFIP against right-handed hitters on the season while allowing a massive 39.3% hard-hit rate, making this a spot where Cabrera could do some serious damage.
