James McCann has been absolutely lighting up southpaws this season, with a .452 wOBA and .545 isolated slugging (ISO) largely thanks to an unsustainable 44.4% home-run-to-fly-ball rate. Even ignoring his production, McCann's batted-ball profile has been outstanding, with a 47.1% hard-hit rate, 5.9% soft-hit rate and 52.9% fly-ball rate.

He also ranks 21st in average batted-ball distance on the season and 20th in average exit velocity over the past 15 days.

The backstop draws a matchup with Baltimore Orioles lefty Wade Miley, who has followed his 4.21 SIERA from 2017 with a 4.27 mark this year, and McCann offers huge upside.
