3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 6/1/17

Alex Meyer comes cheap on a small FanDuel main slate, but makes for a very risky choice. Who else should you avoid tonight in DFS?

Welcome to Tiny Main Slate Thursday! Four games normally means we need a magnifying glass to find pitching, but, lo and behold, we actually have some solid choices tonight.

Zack Greinke ($10,400) gets a positive park shift on the road against the Miami Marlins, making him the safest option with the lowest implied team total. But you can also pivot to Marco Estrada ($9,200) or Eduardo Rodriguez ($9,000), who have shown plenty of upside, but are in tougher spots.

If you're looking for a cheapie, Alex Meyer ($7,200) is probably your best bet with a 26.2% strikeout rate, but it comes with a risky 16.8% walk rate and 8.0% swinging-strike rate.

For your bats, the Arizona Diamondbacks should be able to handle Jeff Locke, who is making his 2017 debut, and had a 5.05 SIERA and 12.9% strikeout rate in 2016. Meanwhile, the Boston Red Sox get Wade Miley (37.3% hard-hit rate), and the Toronto Blue Jays have CC Sabathia (34.5% hard-hit rate).

Let's check out three guys to consider fading tonight.
