Giancarlo Stanton has cooled down significantly since his absurd stretch in August. While his weak .269 wOBA over the past 15 days looks concerning on the surface, that is coming with only a .129 BABIP despite ranking 17th in average exit velocity during that time. For context, he has a .283 BABIP on the season and a .316 career average. He's still hitting the ball well, and his production will bounce back.

He's in a favorable spot for that bounce back tonight, taking on Jake Thompson and the Philadelphia Phillies.

Thompson has played in eight major league games this season (five starts), managing just a 5.28 SIERA. That's not very surprising, though, considering the 5.68 mark he posted in 10 games last year at the big league level, along with the 4.59 xFIP he posted in 22 Triple-A this year.
