3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 4/3/19
Mookie Betts, OF, Boston Red Sox
Price: $4,700
Getting right back to the Boston Red Sox, whose 4.80 implied total is the second-best on the slate, Mookie Betts isn't a guy who suffers much without the platoon advantage either, having posted a .436 wOBA and .271 ISO in that split in 2018.
Betts made career-best contact last year (44.5% hard-hit, 12.2% soft-hit, and 44.9% fly-ball rates), and that translated to a .449 wOBA and .294 ISO overall.
Adding in the fact that he was surrounded by one of the league's best offenses, he scored an MLB-leading 129 runs while adding 80 RBI, 30 stolen bases and 32 home runs -- making him one of only two players with at least 30 steals and 30 homers on the year.
Getting a nice boost from his matchup with Estrada, as well as the increased opportunity for runs and RBI from the Sox as a whole being in a good spot, this is a prime opportunity for him to turn around what has been a relatively slow start to 2019.
Our models agree, projecting him for the highest fantasy score among today's hitters.
