Going right back at Perez, right-handed hitters in particular find themselves getting a big fantasy boost against him. Going back to the start of the 2016 season, when the 5.00 SIERA streak started, he's allowed a big .360 wOBA and 5.10 xFIP to right-handed bats.

No stranger to taking full advantage of matchups with southpaws, Tyler White has only managed a career .307 wOBA and .168 ISO in same-sided matchups, but his 199 plate appearances against left-handed pitching have yielded a .382 wOBA and .262 ISO on a 36.9% hard-hit and 44.3% fly-ball rate.

This inability to hit righties tends to keep his price nice and low, making him a steal when he's up against a lefty -- especially when that lefty is Martin Perez.
