Billy Butler, 1B, Oakland Athletics

While Billy Butler's season hasn't looked great on the surface, he's sporting his highest isolated slugging since 2012 and has a 34.2 percent hard-hit rate on the season. He has also been crushing left-handed pitching this year with a .348/.388/.522 slash and a .384 wOBA. That success doesn't come as a huge surprise, either, as he owns a career .379 wOBA and .198 isolated slugging against lefties.

He'll be up against Cesar Ramos tonight, who has is sporting a 4.78 SIERA and 14.7 percent strikeout rate on the season, both the worst marks of his career. He is allowing a 36.0 percent hard-hit rate and has really struggled with right-handed hitters, allowing a .377 wOBA with a 4.60 xFIP, making this an excellent matchup for Butler.
