Mike Napoli isn't having his most consistent year from the plate, sporting his lowest average since 2011, but he has been hitting for power very well, with a .240 isolated power that marks his best since 2012.

He has always done his best work against left-handed pitching with a career .389 wOBA and .247 ISO, and that makes tonight's matchup with lefty Blake Snell an appealing one.

Snell only has two Major League games under his belt, and even though his 2.16 ERA looks good, his 4.20 SIERA tells a different story. He has also allowed a .704 OPS against lefties between his 14 Triple-A and MLB starts this season, not numbers that inspire confidence for today.
