Before digging into the lineup, there are a couple of things to note. First, this particular lineup is subject to change, and we'll be updating it throughout the day as lineups are revealed. Second, if you want to differentiate the roster a bit, check out our optimal lineup tool, where you can swap out player - or even full teams - to get the perfect lineup. That will certainly help differentiate yourself from your competition.

This week's Friday lineup has the high-priced Stephen Strasburg with lower-priced pitchers in Robbie Ross and Jesse Chavez. Strasburg is a no-brainer at home against one of the worst hitting teams in the bigs, San Diego. Ross and Chavez are the value plays, and each have upside of their own. Chavez will face a Houston Astros lineup with a 24.4% K rate, the third-worst in the league. Ross gets Seattle, another team with a lowe strikeout rate (23.8%), and one that's scored the second-fewest runs over the last two weeks.

The batters, as usual, are stacked. Like, incredibly stacked. Instead of looking at the big names though, let's dig into two that are lower-priced, showing why our algorithms like them so much today.

The first is Twins' catcher Josmil Pinto, who will face right-hander Rick Porcello. Though Pinto is a righty himself, his limited Major League Baseball plate appearances show that he hits righties much better than lefties. He's also very cheap on most daily fantasy sites, making him a daily value play.

Another lower-priced player - even lower than Pinto - is Jonathan Schoop. Though he's had issues striking out this year, the Baltimore's second baseman can hit right-handers pretty well, which is what he'll see tonight in Yordano Ventura. Again, we're not talking a lot of plate appearances here, but Schoop, thus far, has a wOBA that's 200 points higher against right-handers compared to lefties. He's essentially a punt in this lineup, but he's still capable of producing according to the algorithms.
