4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 6/14/19

Each day here on numberFire, we'll go through four offenses ripe for the stacking for our daily fantasy baseball lineups. They could have a great matchup, be in a great park, or just have a lot of quality sticks in the lineup, but these are the offenses primed for big days that you may want a piece of.

Premium members can use our stacking feature to customize their stacks within their optimal lineups for the day, choosing the team you want to stack and how many players you want to include. You can also check out our hitting heat map, which provides an illustration of which offenses have the best combination of matchup and potency.

Now, let's get to the stacks. As usual, we will not include today's game at Coors Field in these recommendations. You already know that you want bats at Coors when you can afford them, and you don't need us to tell you. Here are the other teams you should be targeting in daily fantasy baseball today.

Cleveland Indians

The Cleveland Indians boast a 5.15-run implied total tonight against lefty Ryan Carpenter, who has a 7.89 ERA through 136 batters faced in 2019. The skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) is less bad, but it's still bad (5.28). Carpenter has generated a swinging strike on just 7.0% of his pitches, a mark that would rank him second-lowest among all qualified pitchers in 2019. In all, he ranks 10th-worst in strikeout rate (14.0%) among 168 pitchers with at least 20 innings this season (he has racked up 29.2).

Cleveland can offer a slew of righties and switch hitters to take advantage of the matchup. Francisco Lindor ($4,000) has a .371 wOBA against lefties this season to pair with a 40.4% hard-hit rate. Oscar Mercado ($3,300) has just 36 plate appearances this year against lefties but has posted a 58.3% hard-hit rate in the split. Carlos Santana ($3,800) has lacked liftoff with an 18.3% fly-ball rate but has still generated hard contact 45.0% of the time in his 89 plate appearances against southpaws. Jordan Luplow ($3,000) and Jose Ramirez ($3,000) also have had success against lefties to start 2019, particularly Luplow (.433 ISO and .464 wOBA in 67 plate appearances).
