FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Tuesday 9/3/19

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.
Pitchers to Target
High-Priced Pitchers
Mike Clevinger ($12,000 on FanDuel): Mike Clevinger is really getting up there in price, but he owns the best strikeout rate on the board (36.3%), besting even the likes of Max Scherzer (35.0%) and Jacob deGrom (31.7%). That trio of names shows just how stacked this pitching slate is, but Clevinger draws the best matchup of the group, facing the lowly Chicago White Sox -- against right-handers, Chicago's active roster owns a lackluster 25.8% strikeout rate and 93 wRC+. In addition to all those punchouts, Clevinger has a 3.10 SIERA to back up his stellar ERA, and he also shines virtually across the board in his Statcast metrics. Rostering him will require you to go extra cheap on the bats, but with many of tonight's top spots actually showing a fair amount of value, it's not an impossible task.
Scherzer ($10,500) and deGrom ($10,700) face off against one another tonight, putting a damper on either one grabbing the win, but we all know the upside they bring in every start. Scherzer is still a risky bet after failing to reach five innings in either of his starts since coming off the injured list, but after throwing 89 pitches and racking up eight punchouts against Baltimore his last time out, he could be rounding back into form.
