FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Friday 9/13/19

Max Scherzer performed well in his last outing and will look to keep things going in his second straight start against the Braves.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

High-Priced Pitchers

Gerrit Cole ($12,000 on FanDuel): Even on a slate with a good number of aces, Gerrit Cole has a $1,200 jump over every other hurler on the board. Still, it's hard to argue with a guy boasting an absurd 2.67 SIERA, 39.4% strikeout rate, and 6.0% walk rate and plays with a stacked lineup like the Astros. Over his last dozen starts, Cole hasn't dropped below 40 FanDuel points once and has put up 58 points or more eight times. Racking up at least 14 punchouts in three straight games, Cole just seems unstoppable these days, and the Royals aren't likely to be the team that slows him down (3.09 implied total).
