FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Thursday 10/3/19

Ronald Acuna and the Braves draw the best matchup on Thursday's two-game slate, but they also figure to be the evening's most popular stack.

The NLDS gets going on Thursday, granting us a traditional full roster slate incorporating both games, in addition to a pair of single-game slates to dabble in. The Atlanta Braves host the St. Louis Cardinals at 5:02pm ET and are followed by the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers. The Braves have far and away the highest implied total at 4.85 runs.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered!

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

Walker Buehler ($10,200 on FanDuel): Walker Buehler is both the most expensive and most talented hurler on the two-game slate, with the opposing Nationals being given a paltry 3.10 implied total tonight. Buehler wrapped up the regular season with a 3.50 SIERA, 29.2% strikeout rate, and 5.0% walk rate, and he also shined in most pitching Statcast metrics. While Washington certainly has its share of dangerous bats, it's not like there are any true gimme matchups in the playoffs, and Buehler is the most likely candidate to come through with the top FanDuel score tonight.
