FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Tuesday 10/29/19
The Houston Astros found themselves in a two-game hole entering Game 3 in Washington, and all they did was rattle off three straight road wins to get within a game of taking the World Series. We've now witnessed the road team win all five games. Will the Washington Nationals keep that trend going to extend this series to seven games?
The Nats certainly have the right man for the job tonight, with Stephen Strasburg going toe to toe with Justin Verlander in a rematch of Game 2. Although Washington ultimately won that one in a 12-3 blowout, Online Sportsbook has the Astros as -186 favorites in a contest with a modest 7.0-run over/under.
For those unfamiliar with the single-game daily fantasy baseball format, scoring is identical to its full roster cousin, except you only roster hitters and lineups consist of five flex spots. The one twist? One of the five roster spots is your designated "MVP," who receives 2-times his total fantasy points, along with an "All-Star" slot that gets 1.5-times the points. Naturally, it's crucial that you choose your MVP and All-Star carefully if you want to be at the top of the leaderboards when it's all said and done.
On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel single-game slate.
