Ben Gamel on Pirates' bench Wednesday afternoon
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Ben Gamel is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Luis Castillo and the Cincinnati Reds.
Gamel is grabbing a seat for the day game after he started the last three for Pittsburgh. Yoshi Tsutsugo is replacing Gamel in right field and hitting second.
numberFire’s models project Tsutsugo for 12.4 FanDuel points and he has a $2,500 salary on Wednesday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates have an implied total of 3.5 runs. Castillo is registering a 24.0 strikeout percentage and a 9.2 walk percentage this season, with a 3.58 xERA and a .290 xwOBA.
