Giants' Mauricio Llovera making first MLB start Thursday
San Francisco Giants pitcher Mauricio Llovera will start a bullpen game on Thursday versus the St. Louis Cardinals.
Llovera will make his first start in the majors on Thursday, but it is expected to be a brief appearance. The 26-year-old right-hander has allowed one run over three innings since being promoted from Triple-A Sacramento.
