DJ LeMahieu in Yankees' dugout for early game Tuesday
New York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu is not in the starting lineup versus right-hander Jon Gray and the Texas Rangers in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader.
The Yankees are resting a few starters for Tuesday's early game, but LeMahieu figures to be back in there for the second contest. Anthony Rizzo will replace LeMahieu on first base and bat second in the matinee.
Rizzo has a $9,000 salary on Tuesday's single-game slate and numberFire’s models project him for 13.6 FanDuel points (second-most in the game among hitters). Per our MLB Heat Map, Gray's strikeout rate this season (26.3%) is tied for fourth-highest among Tuesday's projected starters.
