Yankees' DJ LeMahieu dealing with non-displaced foot fracture, to be re-evaluated in two weeks

New York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu is dealing with a non-displaced fracture in his foot, the team announced.

What It Means:

Initial X-rays on LeMahieu's foot were negative, but as the swelling his gone down, a fracture has been spotted. The team says it'll run more imaging in two weeks' time. For now, expect more work for Oswaldo Cabrera, Jon Berti and Jahmai Jones.

In 562 plate appearances last season, LeMahieu had a .243 batting average with a .718 OPS, 15 home runs, 55 runs and 44 RBI.
