Yankees' Greg Allen absent Monday

New York Yankees outfielder Greg Allen is not in the lineup on Monday against right-hander Tyler Glasnow and the Tampa Bay Rays.

What It Means:

Allen started on Sunday for the first time since he returned from the injured list and went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout. Jake Bauers will move over to left field and bat sixth on Monday while Giancarlo Stanton will shift to right field and bat cleanup. Aaron Judge will return to the lineup to bat second and be the designated hitter. Gleyber Torres will lead things off and Anthony Rizzo will work out of the three-hole.

numberFire’s models project Stanton ($3,200) for 8.1 FanDuel points on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Yankees' implied total is 3.98 and the game total is 8.5. Glasnow has a 3.36 ERA and 4.08 xERA this season, with a 48.6% hard-hit rate (bottom 4th percentile of MLB), 34.8% strikeout rate (top 3rd), and 7.9% walk rate.
