Mariners' Cade Marlowe sitting versus Reds Monday

The Seattle Mariners will not start Cade Marlowe in their lineup for Monday's game against the Cincinnati Reds.

What It Means:

Marlowe will be on the bench as the Mariners start their series with the Reds. Ty France will rejoin the lineup at first base and bat sixth while Mike Ford moves to designated hitter and Dominic Canzone takes over in left field.

Marlowe has made 100 plate appearances so far this season, with 3 home runs, 14 runs, 11 RBI, 4 stolen bases and a .750 OPS. The rookie is still playing well despite cooling off from his blazing hot start.
