Clive Walford's situation is a bit different than that of the guys above. Their optimism is all based on previous efficiency out of their respective offenses. For Walford, it stems from the potential of the Oakland Raiders if things fall correctly this year.

The Raiders' offensive line did a nice job keeping Derek Carr upright last year, ranking 13th in Sack NEP per dropback and finishing sixth in Pro Football Focus' 2015 offensive-line rankings. That was before they signed guard Kelechi Osemele to a five-year, $58 million deal in the offseason, bolstering an already-impressive unit. That's abundantly noteworthy.

Even though he declined as the season went along, Carr still made significant strides in his first year with Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. If they were to remain stable with what they did last year, then Walford could sniff fantasy relevancy with an expanded role. Any uptick in efficiency would immediately benefit a guy who has received a lot of buzz in the offseason.

As early as March, the Raiders were saying they wanted Walford to get more involved in the offense. This is a sentiment Raiders offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave shared this month as Walford worked his way back from an injury he suffered in an ATV accident. If they get their wish, and the offense is able to take advantage of its stout offensive line, Walford's fantasy stock will shoot up.
