With the worst record among the 20 passers in this list, Philip Rivers and his San Diego Chargers finished 8-8 in the 2008 season. That was despite Rivers' best efforts as the 27-year-old racked up 4,009 yards and 8.04 ANY/A.

Rivers led the NFL with 34 touchdowns and a quarterback rating of 105.5. The Chargers won an AFC wild card matchup before falling short in the Divisional Round.
