14. Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers (2005)

With his small frame, Steve Smith is considered pound-for-pound one of the best wide receivers of our time. Despite many great seasons during a long career, his fifth was his best. In it, he achieved a career-high AV of 18 with career-highs in both touchdowns (12) and yards (1,563).

On 10.24 yards per target, Smith was successful in grabbing 68.7% of his 150 targets. That year, he led the league with 103 receptions and was named Comeback Player of the Year.
